Many Boss Souls are available in the MapleStory game. All the souls have different states and effects, so it is very important to know how I ranked the souls. So the first thing I make in priority is Stat Boosts. In Stat Boosts, there are different things that help you to make your weapon more powerful, so as weapon attack, magic attack, or boss damage.
I ranked those souls in the top tier whose stat boosts are very good and good in soul effect, summon ability, utility in game modes, and much more. So I ranked according to that, from low to high, from SS Tier Souls to C Tier Souls. Let’s see the rankings.

Why is Lotus Soul higher than Ursus Soul in 2025 update?
In the 2025 patch note, Lotus Soul received very good buffs that improve its attack multiplier and cooldown efficiency. On the other side Ursus Soul remains the same means good for defense, but lacks the DPS output that is actually required in high-level bosses. So i ranked Lotus Soul higher than Ursus Soul.

In MapleStory, not all souls are equally powerful. Some souls are very good, some are average, but some souls are not as good. Here, I ranked souls from Tier S to Tier C according to their powers and performances.

Magnificent Souls are actually important and powerful enhancements for weapons. They help your weapons stat boosts and unique summon effects. To obtain them, you have to defeat bosses and collect soul shards.
And when you have ten soul shards from the same boss, then you can craft one boss soul. Now you know the importance of the Magnificent Souls and if you want to play the MapleStory game till the end, then Magnificent Souls are a must for you.
